Kenn Clacher : Canyons and the meaning of life

NO!  Not the tiny abseily sort of canyon.  BIG canyons.  The biggest in the world.  Canyons or gorges that may take several days or even weeks to walk or float through.   Plus deep ones, skinny ones, high ones, low ones and other notable ones.  But which is the biggest canyon in the world?  There are several that claim the title of the biggest, deepest, steepest or longest canyon, gorge, valley, abyss or chasm in the world.  Kenn Clacher runs a canyonometer over many prominent abysses in the earth, including Ordesa Canyon, Gorges of Verdun, Grand Canyon, Colca Canyon, Kali Gandaki an dothers.  But does size matter, canyon-wise?  Is the biggest canyon the most spectacular or beautiful, and who cares anyway?  Kenn has stumbled across many of the claimants to the title of world’s biggest canyon on six continents and will explore these questions and their relevance to the meaning of life.  Special bonus liftout section on natural bridges and arches.
